SPOONER — Members of the Spooner-Trego Lions Club are getting ready this week for the 70th Spooner Heart of the North Rodeo. They represent the food and drink concession at the counter, along with the tremendous challenge of parking vehicles for the thousands of rodeo fans who attend. (The parking staff is proud of the fact that they haven’t lost a car yet!)

The Spooner Rodeo is an exciting event for the area, and it takes many organizations to make the annual Rodeo the success that it has become.

For those who come hungry, hot dogs, various hamburgers, pizza, ice cream, snow cones, pop and side treats will be available to satisfy them, young and old alike!

Aware of the economy, we stress to keep the cost the same as last year to help make the Spooner Rodeo a family event. As you enjoy the meals, know that you are helping us support the many projects we do during the year.

    Lions Bar-B-Que

Don’t forget the Lions Bar-B-Que dinner we offer right after the Spooner Rodeo Parade on Saturday, featuring a delicious meal of pulled pork!

There is a shelter area for your pleasure should there be bad weather. The shelter is available for all events.

See you at the huge, historic 70th Spooner Heart of the North Rodeo!
