Chiefs rookie Carson Steele goes Beast Mode on his first NFL run

A player’s journey to the NFL is never easy. Some have better luck or opportunities than some while others have to make a couple extra stops. For Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Carson Steele, he took the long road.

He started as a 2-star prospect who committed to Ball State and played well above that grading. He parlayed that into an opportunity at UCLA and played well enough there for the NFL to take notice and now he finds himself on the Chiefs.

In his first NFL game, he wasted no time showing the type of player the Chiefs got with him on the roster.

He decided to run through not one, not two, but six different Jacksonville Jaguars on his way to picking up a first down. He was known as a dual-threat back with the potential to implement some physical aspects in his game, but no one expected this.

The Chiefs like to pursue a certain type of running back, Isiah Pacheco being a prime example. They get the most out of him and his style, and it seems Andy Reid may have another running back he can scheme and utilize in various ways.

At this point the Kansas City Chiefs are like the Greek monster Hydra, you can scheme against one weapon on their offense but two more are bound to pop up in its place.

Welcome to the party, Carson Steele.
