After this year's WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix drew a record 3.44 million viewers — more than 2 million better than the previous high from 2003—the league is taking advantage of its growth.

Thanks to its stars, including rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, the WNBA is more popular than ever. The 2024 All-Star Game was one of 17 games this year with viewership above 1 million, a feat not achieved by any WNBA contest in 16 years heading into this season.

With this year's All-Star Weekend success, capped off with a riveting matchup between the league's best and Team USA, the WNBA is bound to put just as much effort, if not more, into the event next year.

Where is the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game?

The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will take place in Indianapolis, home of Clark and the Fever, as reported by ESPN's Alexa Philippou .

The city's Gainbridge Fieldhouse hosted the NBA All-Star Game in 2024, and the arena will host the WNBA edition for the first time next summer.

Caitlin Clark Effect on Indiana Fever

Clark's presence in Indiana very likely tipped the scales in the Fever's favor for the All-Star Game bid. The franchise drafted the Iowa phenom with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Indiana's roster already featured Aliyah Boston and NaLyssa Smith. But since adding the NCAA's all-time leading scorer, the Fever have made leaps on and off the court, challenging for a playoff spot and leading the league in attendance .

The Fever are pacing the league in attendance for both home and away games, with a 265% jump from last season and an average of 16.898 fans across 11 home games. (Gainbridge Fieldhouse has a capacity of 18,000.)

Indiana also has 38 nationally televised games this year (the most in the league), 10 of which have set WNBA viewership records across several networks. Sitting in seventh with an 11-15 record at the mid-point of the season, the team has added 1.3 million followers on social media since the draft in April and leads the league in sponsorships.

Here are the locations of every WNBA All-Star Game to date. Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, home of the Connecticut Sun, has hosted the event more than any other location. New York City, Las Vegas and Phoenix have each hosted the All-Star Game three times.
