The father of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal was taken to hospital after being stabbed, according to reports in Spain.
The incident is said to have occurred on August 14 in a car park in Mataro, near Barcelona. Regional police have reportedly arrested three people in connection with the alleged attack. A fourth person was detained on August 15, according to Sport .
The Catalan press in Spain reported that Lamine Yamal had spoken to his father, Mounir Nasraoui, who is said to be out of danger and was being monitored in hospital in Barcelona. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Later on August 15, Nasraoui himself posted to social media to say he was "better now" and to thank people for messages of support.

Lamine Yamal's father stabbed: What happened?
La Vanguardia reported late on August 14 that Mounir Nasraoui had been stabbed in a car park in Mataro, a coastal town to the north of Barcelona.
The newspaper said he had been taken to hospital in Badalona, where he was in a serious condition. It added that the Mossos, the police force of Catalonia, had begun an investigation.
On August 15, the same outlet updated their story to state that three people had been arrested in connection with the incident, which it said had left Nasraoui with two stab wounds. A fourth person of interest, who was being searched for by police, was detained later, Sport said.
Meanwhile, Sport also reported that Nasraoui was "out of danger" in hospital, with the family having been informed that he will be moved to a ward to recover. The same report said Lamine Yamal had been able to speak directly with his father by phone, having decided not to visit the hospital in order to avoid a media circus. He then attended first-team training with Barcelona and was supported by team-mates and club staff.
Later on August 15, Nasraoui posted an Instagram Story in which he said: "Thank you everyone for your support [.] I'm better now, a big hug to everyone."
Why was Lamine Yamal's father attacked?
Initial reports suggested that an earlier altercation between Nasraoui and a small group of men may have led to the alleged attack.
Video circulated on social media purportedly showing Nasraoui in an argument with several individuals in a residential street. The footage shows him apparently being moved away from the confrontation by another man.
A second video apparently shows police having arrived on the scene, with two officers ordering him to leave the area. He then appears to try to explain them that he had been physically assaulted in the altercation.
The Mossos has not yet commented publicly on the incident.
