Indianapolis Colts reveal initial 53-man roster after cuts deadline

The Indianapolis Colts have finalized their transactions to get the roster trimmed down to 53 players.

While this roster is far from set, the Colts have laid out the foundation of the squad for the 2024 season. There are certainly going to be some waiver additions made, especially in the secondary.

In order to get down to 53 players, the Colts needed to make some necessary moves in regard to injuries. They placed tight end Jelani Woods on the season-ending Reserve/Injured list while edge rusher Samson Ebukam and linebacker Cameron McGrone were placed on the Reserve/Injured list with designations to return.

The Colts hold the 15th spot in the waiver order , and they should be expected to bring in some new faces.

With those moves made, here's the initial 53-man roster for the Colts going into Wednesday:
