There will be plenty of movement across the National Football League in the coming days.

Hundreds of players hit the open market on Tuesday as teams needed to cut down rosters to 53 players, including former Green Bay Packers receiver. He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Packers but was released as Green Bay attempted to cut its roster down.

The 26-year-old didn't remain on the open market for long, though, as he reportedly signed to the rival Chicago Bears' practice squad on Wednesday afternoon, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"An in-division change of teams: Former Packers (wide receiver) Samori Toure is signing with the Bears practice squad, per source," Schefter said.

Toure appeared in 22 games with the Packers over the last two seasons and had 13 receptions, 160 receiving yards, and one touchdown over that stretch. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2022 National Football League Draft. The young receiver will now attempt to make a return to an active roster as a member of the Bears.

Chicago seems to have a surplus of talented receivers so it's unclear if he will end up getting any time in the regular season, but there always is a chance that the Packers will have to face off against an old friend at some point this season.

Hopefully, he is able to shine in his new opportunity after two seasons in Green Bay.
