The New England Patriots have cut their roster down to 53 players from 90 earlier this week and even added a few players from other teams. They then began filling out their 16-man (17-man because of their International Pathway Player exception for Jotham Russell) practice squad.

On Thursday, they signed six more players to the practice squad, including some who were just recently cut - guard Michael Jordan, defensive lineman Trsyten Hill, wide receiver Jalen Reagor, linebacker Brevin Allen, guard Jerome Carvin and center Bryan Hudson.

Here's what we should know about the group:

    Michael Jordan

Jordan, 26, was originally a fourth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2019 out of Ohio State. He also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers before joining the Patriots this offseason. He's appeared in 55 games and started 29, and he got some run as a backup guard during preseason.

    Trysten Hill

Hill, 26, was a second-round selection of the Dallas Cowboys in 2019 out of UCF. He also played for the Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns before signing with New England last October. He's appeared in 32 games in his career (one with the Patriots), recording 27 tackles (four for a loss), 11 quarterback hits and a half-sack.

    Jalen Reagor

Reagor, 25, was a first-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020 who joined the Patriots last year. He appeared in 11 games for New England, catching seven passes for 138 yards and serving as the team's kick returner, bringing one of his seven returns back for a touchdown.

    Brevin Allen

Allen, 23, went undrafted in 2023 after a collegiate career at Campbell. He signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as a rookie and spent most of the season on the practice squad (appearing in just two games). He was released this past May and signed with the Green Bay Packers in August before being waived again during roster cuts.

    Jerome Carvin

Carvin, 23, played at Tennesee before joining the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent last year. He was waived during roster cuts last year and spent this offseason with the Chicago Bears but failed to make their roster out of training camp.

    Bryan Hudson

Hudson, 23, played collegiately for Louisville and signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted rookie. In 60 games with the Cardinals in college, he showed off his versatility, taking snaps at center, guard and tackle.
