Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has provided a clear update on the club's transfer activity ahead of tonight's deadline.

Despite hopes from supporters for a final addition, Postecoglou does not anticipate any more signings unless something unexpected arises.

With the transfer window set to close at 11 pm (BST), Postecoglou has been candid about Tottenham's plans. “Yeah, I think so unless something surprising jumps out,” he stated. “No, I think that is it.” This suggests that Spurs are unlikely to make any last-minute moves.

Tottenham’s squad appears to be short at centre-back, but Postecoglou noted that new signing Archie Gray could fill that role if necessary.

Spurs have been active this summer, with new arrivals including Dominic Solanke, Wilson Odobert, Archie Gray, and Timo Werner, along with Yang Min-hyeok joining in January and Lucas Bergvall completing his move from Djurgarden.

The focus now shifts to the futures of Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon, both of whom are expected to leave the club. “Not really sure. Both players exploring options and I don't get too involved in that,” Postecoglou commented. “It’s been them, their representatives, and the club. I don’t know what activity there is, but they’re exploring options.”

Tottenham’s busy day continues with the Europa League group stage draw and preparation for their Premier League match against Newcastle United on Sunday.

As it stands, Spurs are wrapping up a summer of significant squad changes, with a mix of new faces and departures expected to shape their season ahead.
