    Welle Welle Named the Boys Soccer Player of the Year by the Springfield Sports Commission

    SPRINGFIELD, MO — Carthage’s Welle Welle was announced as the Boys Soccer Player of the Year for Southwest Missouri by the Springfield Sports Commission.

    He had a big senior season with the Tigers scoring 38 goals and 29 assists.

    Carthage finished the season with a 19-5 overall record.

    Welle was named a First Team All-COC selection and was also named a Second Team All-State selection by the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association.

    Next up for Welle, he is committed to Neosho County Community College to continue his soccer career.
