New Jackson College Jets Air Station Opening Today
(July 8, 2024 7:33 AM ET) Jackson College will open the new Jets Air Station to college and community members today. After months of anticipation, the finishing touches have been made, and the Jets Air Station is ready to welcome guests. The hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays & Sundays (hours may change based on usage). This brand-new inflatable air dome provides more space for college athletics, student and community workouts, and public events. Inside, the Air Station features a rubberized floor with four basketball courts, four volleyball courts, six pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. A marked walking track surrounds the perimeter of the athletic courts. The starting setup includes one tennis court, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a pickleball court, which may change based on usage.

Jackson’s Cascades Falls $145K renovation moving forward
JACKSON, MI - Renovation work at one of Jackson’s oldest landmarks is set to move forward this summer through a set of planned electrical upgrades. Members of Jackson County Park Board approved a proposal to accept a bid in the amount of $145,236 from the Clarklake-based A Plus Electric Inc. to handle electrical upgrades at Jackson’s Cascades Falls.
