Jackson’s Cascades Falls $145K renovation moving forward
JACKSON, MI - Renovation work at one of Jackson’s oldest landmarks is set to move forward this summer through a set of planned electrical upgrades. Members of Jackson County Park Board approved a proposal to accept a bid in the amount of $145,236 from the Clarklake-based A Plus Electric Inc. to handle electrical upgrades at Jackson’s Cascades Falls.

Construction Notice - South Grand Street
A private construction project will have the 100 block of South Grand Street closed to through traffic starting on July 8, 2024 and lasting approximately 3 weeks. The construction will require equipment to be placed in the Grand Street right of way and the parking lane along Michigan Avenue. The Grand Street work is expected from July 8, 2024 through July 17, 2024 and then work on the Michigan Avenue side will occur. Throughout the entire time, the sidewalk will be closed along South Grand Street and Michigan Ave due to work occurring overhead.
