Brunswick murder suspect caught in Charlotte, NC
22 year old Ta’Quan Waye of Brunswick was apprehended in Charlotte, North Carolina last week in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Xavier Williams Sunday in the Glynnvilla Apartments area. Waye, who was released on parole July 10 from Hancock State Prison where he was serving a 10-year sentence for a theft by receiving stolen property conviction, is now facing charges in Glynn of murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information can call Brunswick City police Det.
