Sun City West residents support Legion Post 94 pancake fundraiser

Legion Post 94 veterans held a Spring Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at the  Sun City West Foundation Powell Room.

About 650 residents took part in the event.   All proceeds from the breakfast ticket sales will be donated to non-profits, which support various veteran services. The next Post 94 Pancake Breakfast is Tuesday, Nov. 5.

During the March 7 meeting,  Mark Wells with Missing In America Project was the guest speaker.

Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall

Veterans from Legion Post 94 and other veterans in Sun City West can take part in a memorial event. From Thursday, April 11 through Sunday, April 14, the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall will be located at Pleasant Harbor, Lake Pleasant, 40202 N. 87th Ave.  for daily viewing, free of charge.

Upcoming meet

American Legion Post 94 regular monthly membership meetings are at  10 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month in the Quail Room of the SCW Foundation Building, 14465 R. H. Johnson Blvd.
