According to a yearly report from the New Jersey Department of Health, 96% of children who were born in New Jersey and turned 6 years old during the state's 2022 fiscal year had at least one blood test for lead during their lifetime.

County Grant to Help Preserve Former Schoolhouse in Roxbury
ROXBURY, NJ – Morris County is donating almost a quarter-million dollars to help Roxbury preserve the historic Lafayette School. The $241,608 grant, from the county Historic Preservation Trust Fund, will be used for exterior work on the 103-year-old structure. 66-year-old man killed in Town of Wallkill pedestrian accident
TOWN OF WALLKILL – A 66-year-old man was tragically killed on Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in the Town of Wallkill. According to the Town of Wallkill Police Department, the unidentified victim was hit near Fortune Road West and Tower Drive at about 8:45 p.m. He was taken to Garnet Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
