66-year-old man killed in Town of Wallkill pedestrian accident
TOWN OF WALLKILL – A 66-year-old man was tragically killed on Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in the Town of Wallkill. According to the Town of Wallkill Police Department, the unidentified victim was hit near Fortune Road West and Tower Drive at about 8:45 p.m. He was taken to Garnet Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The accident remains under investigation.

FAIR LAWN, NJ - The Borough has hired two new police officers, both Fair Lawn High School graduates, who will begin training at the Bergen County Police Academy tomorrow, August 1. Vincent Messina, 30, is a 2011 graduate of Fair Lawn High School. He was previously employed as a 911 telecommunicator with the Fair Lawn Police Department.
