Franklin Food Bank: Community Distribution Program Aug. 7 at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens
SOMERSET, NJ - The Franklin Food Bank, in collaboration with the Franklin Township Police Department's Community Relations Bureau and volunteers from the YMCA of Somerset County, addresses food insecurity with its monthly Community Distribution program. This drive-thru event provides up to 1,000 boxes of produce and dry goods, regardless of residency, and serves around 300 cars and 100 walk-ins, distributing 26,000 pounds of food each time, according to Franklin Food Bank officials.
