Since the new Heart Tribute Band, Lost Angel, made its debut in February at The Chill Room, they have been busy rehearsing and making plans. When Dani Garrity and her husband and band manager Mark started the project, they were told “there are too many talented elements needed to make a Heart tribute work." However, the recording session that took place at Premier Studios in Phoenix in April proves otherwise. In spite of warnings that they would "never find a Nancy Wilson” to join Dani Garrity’s Ann Wilson on stage, they did, indeed find a great Nancy in Heather Lovejoy.

Lost Angel brings together Dani Garrity and Heather Lovejoy as Ann and Nancy Wilson, the famous sisters who brought their unique sound to the rock and roll world in the 1970s. J. Mark Perales joins Garrity and Lovejoy on Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals, along with Scott Peccia on Rhythm Guitar and 12-String Acoustic Guitar; Philip Koffman on Bass andFor Backing Vocals; Dave "Rudy" Ridolfi on Drums, and Eddie Carr-Gaona on Keyboards.

The recording session, which was open to the public, lasted a little over an hour. Attendees rocked along with Lost Angel’s full set of Ann and Nancy's music through the years. The set consists of lesser-known deep cuts from the 90s and 2000s to the big hits of the 70’s and 80’s, such as Barracuda and Magic Man. The band’s name, Lost Angel, comes from the song of the same name on Heart’s 2004 Jupiter's Darling album.

Lost Angel’s rousing rendition of Heart’s 1975 hit, Magic Man, took at least one attendee back to her teen years. Heather, Dani, and the rest of Lost Angel promise to bring a great concert experience to the fans.
