OSHP: 1 dead, 4 injured in three-vehicle crash on I-80 in Wood County
WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — One person is dead and another four are injured following a three-vehicle crash Friday evening on the Ohio Turnpike. Troopers responded to a report of a multi-vehicle serious injury crash at 6:31 p.m. Friday on I-80 eastbound near I-280, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A woman was arrested after police said she drove more than three miles through Toledo with a person on her vehicle's hood Wednesday. The suspect, whom police identified as 70-year-old Angela Jackson, is accused in a police report of backing her vehicle into another person's vehicle at a gas station at 1708 East Manhattan Boulevard around 4:30 p.m.
1 killed, 3 injured in Fulton County crash
LYONS, Ohio — An Adrian man was killed and three other people injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Fulton County. According to the Toledo post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Richard Kinnick, 74, was driving south on State Rt. 109 when he failed to stop for the stop sign at U.S. 20 and was struck by a westbound vehicle that was being driven by John Garrow, 68, of Waldron, Mich. Mr. Kinnick was not wearing his seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Kinnick’s passenger, Laura Berger, 71, of Sarasota, Fla., was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital with serious injuries. Ms. Berger was wearing her seat belt. Mr. Garrow and his passenger, Laura Garrow, 66, also of Waldron, Mich., suffered minor injuries. They were both transported to the Fulton County Health Center for treatment.
4 shot in separate incidents over holiday
Four people were shot in Toledo over the holiday, according to Toledo police. Around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, a 34-year-old man showed up at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center with a gunshot wound. He said he was shot near Greenbelt Parkway and Bush Street but gave police an inconsistent story as to what happened. A Toledo teen was shot in the neck Thursday afternoon, police said. Around 1 p.m. police, responding to a ShotSpotter alert reporting 14 gunshots, found evidence of a shooting in the 400 block of West Delaware Avenue. While on scene, Xavier Russell, 17, walked into St. Vincent seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. Police said the gunshot wound was the result of a disorder the Russel youth was involved in on West Delaware. Around 11 p.m. Thursday, police responded to Birmingham Terrace in East Toledo on a report of two people shot. They found two victims, each with gunshot wounds that didn’t appear to be life-threatening. Due to lack of cooperation from the victims and no ShotSpotter alerts from the devices near the complex, police are unsure of where the pair were shot. Both individuals were transported to St. Vincent.

'Intentionally set fire' burns $22,500 worth of hay in Lenawee County, fire department says
MORENCI, Mich. — A fire that the Morenci Fire Department says was intentionally set Thursday night burned $22,500 worth of hay in a field in Chesterfield Township. The fire department said on social media Friday afternoon that it responded to the outdoor fire off of County Road 15-1 just before 10 p.m. on Thursday and found approximately 300 large square hay bales, along with another stack of bales nearby in the same field, on fire.
