The Rogers City Council on May 14 approved a second amendment to the city’s purchase agreement with NAI Legacy for the sale of city-owned property at County Road 81 and Church Avenue. Rogers approves sale of 1.31 acres of city-owned property
The Rogers City Council has approved a $550,000 purchase agreement for the sale of 1.31 acres of city-owned property at 136th Avenue and Rogers Drive to Java Companies. A memo to the council from Rogers Community Development Director Brett Angell said the proposed buyer plans to develop a multi-tenant commercial building that would feature a quick service restaurant, coffee shop with a drive-thru, and one additional office-related tenant. The property, originally acquired via TIF1 (tax increment financing) funds in 2006, currently is undeveloped and maintained by the city, according to the memo. The site is bounded by Maynard’s restaurant on the west, a bank and multi-tenant commercial building on the north, a multi-tenant commercial building and movie theater on the east, and a drainage pond on the south.

The Otsego City Council has approved the final plat of Prairie Pointe 3rd Addition, consisting of 19 single-family lots. The lots will be on a cul-de-sac — 79th Court — off 80th Street. DR Horton Minnesota received preliminary plat approval for the site in 2022.

I have to be honest, I know people who have a cabin or a cottage that I see as an actual main house. But they see it as a "getaway" house. On the other hand, if you do have a structure like this to sell and you are classifying it as a "cabin", you obviously are in a much higher tax bracket than where I am.
