Over $154 Million in Federal Funds to Enhance Forest Conservation and Support Local Economies
The Trust for Public Land has welcomed a recent announcement from the U.S. Forest Service. The announcement detailed the allocation of over $154 million in funding for 26 conservation projects across the United States. This funding, from the Forest Legacy Program, will help preserve about 168,000 acres of forest land. These lands are economically and ecologically important and are located in 17 states. They are part of the Biden-Harris Administration's Investing in America agenda.
