This Indiana City is the Fifth Most Affordable Place to Live in the U.S.
When it comes to finding a place to settle down, there are a number of factors to consider. For me, I wanted to find a place with plenty of restaurants, fishing holes, and rural land. I was fortunate enough to find an area like this near my hometown, but you may have other things in mind that you'd like around your home. Regardless of how mine and your preferred amenities may differ, I think we both can agree that finding someplace affordable is certainly a box to check on the moving list.

One Indiana town could be the golden ticket for the many Hoosiers hoping to buy a house in 2024. I can say without a doubt that it will be a long time before I move again. When my wife and I decided to return to Indiana earlier this year, we knew we didn't want to rent but rather own a home in the country. After selling our house in Kentucky, we were able to do just that, but the market in Indiana made for a very stressful process. In addition to astonishingly high interest rates, we were also facing high-priced housing, fueled by a competitive market and low inventory.
