‘Broadway Beauties’ encore program set for Monday in Great Bend
The Barton County Historical Society will host an encore presentation by Justin Engleman of his “Broadway Beauties,” at 7 p.m., Monday, April 22 in the Ray Schulz Library at the Historical Society, 85 S. Hwy. 281, Great Bend. The program features many of the historic homes on Great Bend’s Broadway Avenue, with some additional information added for this encore presentation. Hoisington fitness center to remain open during school activities
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hoisington USD 431 Board of Education elected to close the fitness center during school-related activities at the Hoisington Activity Center. The Barton Music Department will host the annual Endowment Concert on May 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The event's purpose is to raise funds for music student scholarships.
