EFCU and Okaloosa School District begin providing financial literacy to students
CRESTVIEW — Eglin Federal Credit Union (EFCU) and the Okaloosa County School District have partnered to provide financial education to high school students. On April 9, approximately 60 students from grades 9 through 12 attended a lesson taught by EFCU VP of Membership and Community Development Neko Stubblefield at Crestview High School. Students learned about various topics, from checking and savings accounts to planning for retirement.
Local Educators from Westridge, Crestview, and Eureka Schools Named Rockwood's 2024 Teachers of the Year
Molly Clince of Westridge Elementary, CJ VanZandt of Crestview Middle, and Jenni Highfill of Eureka High have been chosen as Rockwood School District's 2024-2025 Teachers of the Year for their grade levels. They were picked from 31 building-level Teachers of the Year and are now candidates for the district-wide Teacher of the Year award.
