Memorial Day Tradition Returns to Indiana’s First City
If you're a history buff looking for something to do this weekend, then you should take a trip to Vincennes, Indiana, for the Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous. Growing up next to Knox County, Indiana, I often went Vincennes to take a stroll along the Wabash River or visit the historic downtown district. In fact, I even moved there straight out of high school, where I attended Vincennes University for broadcasting. While I've since graduated and moved a handful of times, I still visit the city a couple of times a month to see friends or even eat at some of my favorite restaurants.
