These are Alabama’s youngest and oldest counties by median age
The Alabama counties with the youngest median age are home to some of the state’s largest colleges. With a median age of 30.8, Pike County , home of Troy University, is the youngest county in Alabama. And that’s about 19 years younger than Coosa County, the oldest in Alabama by median age.
