Wide receiver CJ Wiley has decided to roll with the Florida State Seminoles and what a big commitment he'll go down as for Mike Norvell and his staff down in Tallahassee.

Wiley, who checks in at 6-foot-4, 195 pounds, is ranked as the No. 15 wideout in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. From Alpharetta, Georgia, it's also well worth noting that he chose FSU over the Georgia Bulldogs. He also had a heavy interest in the LSU Tigers.

That's a massive win for Florida State and the Seminoles can thank the work they've put in on the recruiting trail. Wiley had a tough choice, but FSU's staff made him feel at home during this past weekend's official visit and in interactions far before.

“I think the biggest thing is the familiarity with some of the staff members,” Wiley’s father Chuck told On3 regarding his son's commitment. “They offered CJ in the ninth grade. They’ve been around for a minute. Coach Norvell has been to the school several times. Coach (Alex) Atkins has been to the school a couple times. It’s been a big recruiting effort. Coach (Ron) Dugans has definitely been down there too.”

Wiley can also see himself following in the footsteps of several of FSU's latest receivers. Keon Coleman is the latest example out of Florida State. The Buffalo Bills just drafted him in the second round and he's expected to play a big role in Buffalo as a rookie.

“The program has had a history of winning and if you look at what they had last year the receivers are similar to CJ that had a lot of success. Coach Norvell and the staff have done a great job with the program almost building it from scratch when he first got there,” Chuck Wiley said.

As a junior, Wiley snagged 68 receptions for 1,473 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 21.7 yards per catch.
