Tallahassee, FL - A Tallahassee man is facing charges of grand theft and practicing veterinary medicine without a license after a dog died in his care.

Kenneth Wade Jr., 33, was arrested last week following an investigation into the death of a pet entrusted to his care.

Authorities allege Wade offered veterinary services online and claimed to produce his own pet medications.

The dog's owner reported Wade to police after he refused to return the animal following its death.

Wade was released on bond with court-mandated restrictions, including staying away from the victim, refraining from advertising veterinary services online, and prohibiting him from owning any animals.
