He's one of the better cornerbacks in the 2025 class, and with just two schools that he's certain he wants to choose from, four-star Onis Konanbanny has said he's ready to make a decision.

With over 40 offers to his name — including programs like Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma and many others —Konanbanny narrowed his list down to two at the end of July.

Florida State and Tennessee are the two lucky final contestants, and he's not going to draw this thing out any longer. Konanbanny is going to make a commitment at the end of August, per reports.

“Florida State and Tennessee are the schools I am down to. Tennessee was my first offer, so they have been with me from the beginning. I like how they stayed with me and have been consistent. Florida State offered a little later than Tennessee, but they have been recruiting me for a long time and I have strong relationships with the coaches there like I do at Tennessee," Konanbanny told On3 at the end of July.

Tennessee may seem like a strong favorite here. The Volunteers were the first to offer the Columbia, South Carolina product and he has a strong relationship with head coach Josh Heupel and his staff. Don't count out the Seminoles, though, especially considering the connection the cornerback has with head coach Mike Norvell.

“I love Mike Norvell," Konanbanny said. "How he treated me and my family on the official visit made a big impact on me. He stayed with me the entire time, he showed me a lot about who he is as a person and that meant a lot to me"

However this ends up, Konanbanny projects to be a nice addition. According to the 247Sports Composite, he's the No. 29 cornerback in the 2025 class.
