    Somehow, Lavonte David is still underrated

    For his entire NFL career, Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David has been one of the most underrated players in the league.

    After 12 years of being one of the most consistently productive players at his position, and the captain of a Super Bowl champion, David is still somehow flying under the radar.

    Overshadowed earlier in his career by fellow draft classmates Luke Kuechly and Bobby Wagner, David consistently put up better numbers than both, but didn’t get All-Pro or Pro Bowl nods because the Bucs weren’t as successful or nationally relevant as a team.

    None of that should cost David a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, though, a place he absolutely belongs after the incredible career he’s had in Tampa Bay.

    That career will continue this season, but before it does, let’s take a look back at some of the best highlights from David’s run so far (courtesy of Liam Mitchell, Bucs Vault):
