Sink Hole Has Closed Fair Lawn Road Leading to Route 4

FAIR LAWN, NJ - Saddle River Road northbound from Red Mill Road to Route 4 will be closed effective immediately due to a sinkhole that has developed within the roadway, according to borough officials.

The announcement was released at approximately 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 20. The road has been blocked for more than 24 hours.

The right turn lane from Saddle River Road to eastbound Red Mill Road will remain open. Saddle River Road from the Route 4 East exit ramp and southbound will remain open.
