    Mahopac Man Arrested for Theft in Somers

    SOMERS, N.Y. - A Mahopac man is facing several charges after allegedly swiping wire and construction materials from a contractor in Somers.

    On Aug. 9, troopers from the Somers barracks arrested Michael Dziedzic, 38, of Mahopac, for two counts of Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

    An investigation determined that Dziedzic stole wire and construction materials valued at over $3000 on several occasions from a contracting company working for NYSEG in the Somers area beginning in May.

    Dziedzic was issued an appearance ticket for Somers Town Court.
