Paramus Invites Recreation Athletes, Families to Coaches Appreciation Day

PARAMUS, NJ - If you've been influenced by a coach in your life, and you've always wanted to tell them what it meant to you, this day could be for you!

The mayor and Borough Council, along with the Recreation Department, has organized Saturday, September 7 as Coaches Appreciation Day.

The event will take place at the Petruska Park front parking lot, 175 N. Farview Avenue from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Borough leaders will recognize all past and present volunteer coaches who have played a vital role in growing borough programs.

Special guest? A New York Giants "Superstar"! (Not sure if this is a current team member, kind of an oxymoron.)

There will be food, music, carnival games and fun.
