    This Week's Vendor Lineup at Sunday's Rancocas Woods Farmers Market : The Rancocas Woods Farmers Market's 2024 season is in full swing!  The Market is back this weekend on Sunday, September 8.

    The Market is scheduled to run every Sunday through October 13 from 10AM to 2PM and is located outdoors at 118 Creek Road, behind Creek Mercantile off of Conestoga Road. Every week, residents and visitors will be able to shop farm-fresh produce, local baked goods and more. A donation-based outdoor yoga class will also take place each week starting at 10AM, so bring your mat and water!

    Burlington County Craft Beer & Food Truck Festival Set for Saturday at Fairgrounds : Get ready for a day of fantastic food, cold drinks and live music at this weekend's Burlington County Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival. Tickets are now on sale for the Sept. 7 event featuring more than two dozen food trucks and breweries from across the region, plus live music throughout the day. The festival will be held from 1 PM to 7 PM at the Burlington County Fairgrounds, 1990 Jacksonville-Jobstown Road in Springfield.

    "Clear" the Burlington County Animal Shelter at Special "Tropical Pawradise" Open House : The Burlington County Animal Shelter will be transformed into a tropical “Pawradise” this weekend for a special end-of-summer open house to help find loving forever homes for some of the shelter’s dogs and cats.

    This year’s Clear the Shelter Open House will be held Saturday, September 7, from 12PM to 4 PM at the Burlington County Animal Shelter, located at 35 Academy Drive in Westampton. During the event, visitors will be able to meet and interact with the dogs and cats and learn more about them from the shelter’s staff and volunteers. Kona Ice will be available for visitors, along with “pup-aritas” for the dogs. There will also be kids activities, information tables, music and more.

    Burlington County Library Holding Four-Day Book Sale Starting Thursday : The Friends of the Burlington County Library, Inc. will be holding a four-day Book Sale beginning on Thursday and continuing through the weekend at the Burlington County Library System's Main Branch in Westampton. Books will be grouped by genre and will be set up in the Library's meeting rooms throughout the weekend. A wide selection will be available, including fiction, non-fiction, movies and more.

    First of Burlington County's Fall Free Paper Shredding Events Set for Sunday : Burlington County residents will have three more opportunities to safely dispose of confidential documents and plastic film this year during the County’s upcoming fall shredding events. Plastic drink carriers, also known as “handles”, will also be collected during the shredding events. The first event will be held on Sunday, September 8  from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex, located at 22000 Burlington-Columbus Road in Florence.

    Transition Benefits Workshop for National Guard Members Being Held in Burlington County This Weekend : Members of the National Guard who are preparing to transition out of the Armed Forces can learn about benefits available to them at an upcoming workshop being held this weekend in Burlington County. The Transition Benefits Workshop will be held between 9AM and 1PM on Saturday, September 7 at the Bordentown National Armory, located at 1048 Route 206 South in Bordentown Township.

    The workshop is open to soldiers and airmen who are within 12 to 24 months of their retirement eligibility date; those transitioning from the National Guard; interstate transfers; gray area retirees; retirees; and spouses.
