BAYONNE, NJ – Elizabeth scored three touchdowns in the first half and went on to a 25-6 football victory over Bayonne in the Bees' first game of the 2024 season on Friday night.

Arique Fleming threw three touchdown passes in the first half and a fourth one in the third quarter for Elizabeth (2-0). Two of his TD throws were to Nahjee Smith.

Bayonne averted the shutout in the fourth quarter when Leo Lin threw a TD pass to Jerome Hayes Jr. on a play that covered 53 yards.

Lin finished with 154 passing yards. Chance Fischer carried 12 times for 58 yards for Bayonne.
