Special: Scotch Plains-Fanwood Marching Band Takes to the Road

RAHWAY, NJ – The acclaimed Scotch Plains-Fanwood Marching Band joined the Raiders varsity football team for a road game at Rahway on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024.

It was their first football game performance this year, the band is looking forward to performing at its first game at home, followed by competition season.

The name of their program is “Mad, Sad, Glad.” The first song is “Mad World,” followed by “What Was I Made For?” (from the Barbie movie), and “Joy.”

The band is really looking forward to the annual Home Show later this month. The popular event was cancelled last year due to rainstorms.
