Michigan Avenue Businesses once again come through for their community!
This post expresses the views and opinions of the author(s) and not necessarily that of The Saline Post management or staff. When Tri-Couinty Sportsmen's League (8640 Moon Road) hosts Kids on the Range Day on Saturday, July 13, volunteers and participants will be well fed by two Michigan Avenue businesses: Cottage Inn (Tim Nowling, owner) and Tim Horton's (Anthony & Lindsay Mollette, managers). Tim Horton's will be providing coffee and donuts for sleepy volunteers arriving in the early morning hours to get the ranges ready for the 60 kids (ages 8-18) who will be attending the annual clinic, which introduces kids to the fun of sport shooting. Later, Cottage Inn will deliver pizzas for the kids and their parents when they've finished their time on the ranges. Just another reason to be proud to be located in Saline! Thanks to both restaurants!
July First Fridays in Adrian has everything from 'Big Wheels' and live music to fireworks
ADRIAN — Race Street and a portion of the Kiwanis Trail in Adrian will be closed off to the public during the afternoon and evening hours on Friday, July 5, as the city of Adrian prepares to light up the downtown sky with a First Fridays fireworks show sponsored by TLC Community Credit Union.
