Galion's Prosser named first team District 9 in Division II

GALION - A talented quartet from Galion earned All-District 9 honors in Division II.

Junior Braxton Prosser led his team with a .400 batting average, 34 hits — four doubles, three triples, two home runs — 23 runs, 18 RBIs, and 27 stolen bases which broke the single-season school record. He was also 2-2 on the mound with a 1.55 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 40⅔ innings pitched which landed him on the first team.

His classmate Max Albert was on the second team after batting .367 with 29 hits — two doubles, two triples, two homers — 27 runs, 20 RBIs, and 13 stolen bases while also striking out 27 with a 2.06 ERA in 17 innings pitched.

Seniors Hunter Miniard (.300 avg., 21 hits, 15 runs, 15 RBIs) and Kael Longwell (.375 avg., 24 hits, 13 runs, 13 RBIs) were honorable mentions.
