The fair saw 2,300 visitors Thursday, plus 5,200 people came to see Josh Turner in concert Thursday night. Total attendance for the fair, which started Tuesday, is more than 17,500, according to organizers. The fair continues through Sunday night. Corvallis standoff ends peacefully with arrest of armed felon
CORVALLIS, Ore. -- After a standoff lasting several hours, a 27-year-old armed felon from Corvallis was arrested and is facing multiple charges. On July 20, around 7:52 a.m., Corvallis Police were dispatched to a home on NW Lance Way after receiving reports of an armed convicted felon who was barricaded in the garage.
