Project Never Broken holds celebration of life

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Project Never Broken held a celebration of life today for fallen Terre Haute police detective Greg Ferency.

This is the third anniversary of his end of watch. The event took place at Afterburner Brewing in Terre Haute, but it has stretched far beyond the local community. Sally Conover even carried a thin blue line flag through an entire spartan race in his honor. She says that everyone became enamored with Greg’s story.

“During the event, I had hundreds of people stop and talk to me to ask what was the reason, what was my why out there carrying that flag,” Conover said. “I was able to share Greg’s story with hundreds of people that day.”
