Bringing Back the Bash arrives this weekend

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – What used to be called “Cruisin the Bash” has returned as Bringing Back the Bash.

Cruisin the Wabash was an event enjoyed by generations of the Terre Haute community. Today, car lovers are trying to bring it back. It’s going on at the Wabash Valley Dragway and throughout Terre Haute this weekend.

It is a two-day event, taking place at Wabash Valley Dragway and the Mill. The event starts on Friday with an exciting night of drag racing, food trucks, and a burnout contest, with the winner taking home $500.

Saturday, at 2 p.m., The Mill will have live music and a kids play zone. Then, Cruisin the Bash begins at 7 p.m. Wabash Avenue will be filled with the bonding of several generations, cars and people alike.
