ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Pierre Moran Middle School is celebrating a remarkable achievement as their very own counselor, Timothy Adams, has been named the Indiana Middle School Counselor of the Year by the Indiana School Counselors Association (ISCA). This prestigious recognition highlights Adams' unwavering dedication and exceptional service to his students.

Expressing his gratitude, Adams humbly stated, “My philosophy has always been ‘it’s not me, it’s we.’ As a building, as a team, it’s always ‘us.’ Thank you so much for this honor.”

The ISCA award is reserved for counselors who demonstrate outstanding commitment to their students and professional excellence in the field of education. Adams' recognition speaks volumes about his impact within the school community.

Adams' journey doesn't end here—he is now one of three finalists for the overall Indiana School Counselor of the Year award. The other finalists include the Indiana Elementary School Counselor of the Year and the Indiana High School Counselor of the Year. The ultimate winner will be announced at the ISCA Conference in November.
