Body found in abandoned East Toledo church

An autopsy was performed Monday on the body of a 41-year-old Toledo man whose partially decomposed remains were found Friday evening in an abandoned East Toledo church.

Police responding to a person-down call at the 711 Euclid Ave. building forced entry and found the remains of John M. Luce, Sr. inside. Dr. Thomas Blomquist, the Lucas County coroner, said Monday that no findings were made immediately after the autopsy and an investigation continued.
