Paving work to close northbound Lewis at Eleanor

Part of Lewis Avenue will close Wednesday for repaving following recent storm sewer work, the Toledo Department of Transportation announced.

Lewis will be closed to northbound traffic Wednesday through Friday between Eleanor Avenue and Alvison Road, with traffic detoured via Eleanor and Bennett and Laskey roads.

After reopening for the Labor Day weekend, officials said, the same section will close Tuesday and Sept. 4 to finish the repaving.
