$2 movies: Midway Cinema announces Family Summer Series in Chehalis 

Midway Cinema in Chehalis has announced this year’s Family Summer Series.

From June 22 through Aug. 14, the cinema will show two family-friendly movies at 10 a.m. every Saturday and Wednesday. The cost will be $2 per ticket.

The cinema noted the showings are first come, first served and that films are subject to change. Seating is limited.

On June 22 and June 26, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and Lego Batman Movie will be shown. On June 29 and July 3, Madagascar and The Angry Birds Movie will be played. On July 6 and July 10, the cinema will feature Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. Boss Baby and The Smurfs 3D will be shown July 13 and July 17. Over the Hedge and Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse will be featured July 20 and July 24. Trolls and Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse will be played July 27 and July 31. The Croods and The Lego Movie will be shown Aug. 3 and Aug. 7. In the final week of the series, on Aug. 10 and Aug. 14, The Croods: A New Age and Lego Movie: The Second Part will be featured.
