The Brookhaven Summer Concert Series is back for 2024, with three bands lined up for three dates on the Railroad Park Stage.

    Each concert is a two-hour Friday-night event, 7-9 p.m. and is family-friendly.

    May 10: Aa’Keela & The Beats

    June 14: The Bridge Band

    July 19: The Lincoln Outfit

The performances are free to concert-goers and are sponsored by The Brookhaven Tourism Council.

The first summer performer, Aa’Keela & The Beats, was also the first performer in the 2023 Fall Concert Series. This multiple-member Meridian-based group is an energetic cover band of a blend of genres — funk, soul, jazz, rock, gospel, and rhythm & blues.

The mid-summer band is the hometown quintet The Bridge Band. The familiar favorite group performs songs “everyone knows,” focusing on classic rock-n-roll from the 1960s to 1980s.

The Bridge Band is made up of brothers Tyler and Nick Bridge, along with Ron Donegan, Scott Shaw and Shelley Smith.

The final concert of the summer will be presented by The Lincoln Outfit, who also closed out the 2023 fall series, and are no strangers to Brookhaven. The five-piece South Mississippi band is a mix of Americana with a unique sound of tight, vocal harmonies. The Lincoln Outfit is Cody Dunaway, Clinton and Baleigh Gooch, Crawford Stevens and Hagen Conn.
