Then it's time to relax and think of you this weekend.
Heavy metal bands Lamb of God and Mastodon will perform at the El Paso County Coliseum Sunday, Aug. 25. The bands are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark albums, Lamb of God's "Ashes of the Wake" and Mastodon's "Leviathan."
Both bands will play the albums in their entirety. Slayer's Kerry King and Malevolence open the show.
If you're on the other end of the music genre spectrum, you might be interested in Air Supply and its performance Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. The duo is known for classics such as "How Deep is Your Love?" and "All Out of Love."

Linkin Park tribute experience at Speaking Rock
Speaking Rock Entertainment Center will feature In the End, a Linkin Park concert experience, Saturday, Aug. 24, at 122 S. Old Pueblo Road. Doors open at 6 p.m. Lineup: Sophomore Year, In the End at 9 p.m., and DJ Kare Bear at 11 p.m. inside. Free. 21 and over event.
Lamb of God and Mastodon at the El Paso County Coliseum

Girl Scouts hosts Kick Up Your Adventure
Families interested in learning more about Girl Scouts are invited to the Kick Up Your Adventure with Girl Scouts event, which will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at 9700 Girl Scout Way. The event will feature information tables and hands-on activities. It is free.
Ardovino's hosts Green Glow Market
El Pasoans are invited to enjoy cool desert nights at Ardovino's Desert Crossing from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4. Dine al fresco at the ADC patio and shop a curated collection from local artists, food creators, and vintage re-imaginers. Restaurant reservations are available for patio service at 575-589-0653.
Photography exhibit at Nova Gallery
Nova Gallery will feature a new photography exhibit, "Indecisive Moments," by El Paso photographers Tim Holt and Abby Akachi. The exhibit will open at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 3803 Frutas Ave.
Tim Holt will debut his "Blurred" series, which delves into the relationship between time and memory. Akachi is a rising star known for dynamic street photography.
