Purdue has a core of proven talent returning, featuring junior outside hitter Eva Hudson, senior middle blocker Raven Colvin and sophomore outside hitter Chloe Chicoine.

Hudson, Colvin and Chicoine all received First Team All-Big Ten honors for the 2023 season.

Purdue volleyball vaulted eight spots from last year’s No. 16 AVCA preseason ranking, joining six other Big Ten teams in the poll.

The Boilers are situated in the middle of the conference’s teams in the AVCA Top-25, ranking higher than newcomer No. 10 Oregon, No. 18 Minnesota and No. 21 USC, but trailing No. 2 Nebraska, No. 3 Wisconsin and No. 7 Penn State.

Nebraska was the only team with more First Team All-Big Ten players than Purdue last season, with four.

Wisconsin equal the Boilers, with three, and Minnesota as well as Penn State both have a pair of players with 2023 First Team All-Big Ten honors.

The Boilers will face each of these highly ranked conference rivals throughout the season.

Below is a list of these scheduled matchups.
