    County attorney clarifies effect of Planning Commission's vote on moratorium bill

    The result of the Frederick County Planning Commission’s tie vote on Frederick County Councilman Steve McKay’s proposed growth moratorium ordinance will be no official recommendation to the County Council, an attorney said.

    After roughly five hours of deliberation on Wednesday, the Planning Commission voted 3-3 on a motion to recommend that the County Council approve McKay’s bill.
