Watch: JD Vance courts voters in Pennsylvania

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), former President Trump’s running mate, will speak Wednesday afternoon from a shipping and warehousing company in Erie, Pa.

This will be Vance’s first visit as the Republican vice presidential nominee to the city on the Keystone State’s northwest shore. But with a large and politically divided population, the commonwealth as a whole is receiving substantial, ongoing attention from both campaigns .

The campaign stop also comes as Trump and his Democratic rival Vice President Harris are neck and neck in the battleground state. The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate polling index currently has the vice president in the lead with 48.2 percent support compared to Trump’s 47.1 percent.
