The Dog Wash Company expected to open soon on Corning's Northside. What to know.

The Dog Wash Company will soon open on Bridge Street in the City of Corning, looking to serve various dog owner's needs.

Natalie Lambert, owner of The Dog Wash Company, has previously provided dog training from her Painted Post home. Now, the 40 Bridge St. business will offer dog spa services, de-shedding, dog grooming, and much more.

Eventually there will be self-service stations so people can come in and use tubs to do dog cleaning themselves.

Pat Flynn, chair of the Corning City Planning Commission, said the Dog Wash Company project received unanimous final approval Tuesday night to move forward with the project.

“We’re hoping to open sometime next week, but it could be a couple of weeks,” Lambert said. “We are excited to get started and open on Bridge Street.”

Lambert said hours for The Dog Wash Company will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The 40 Bridge Street site, which has been vacant for several years, formerly housed a tanning salon.
